Twist: The new Coster twist-lock actuator for press-down valves
Twist is the latest arrival in the family of Coster standard actuators for press-down valves.
Twist is a valve-cover actuator suitable for both aluminum and tin-plate cans of all dimensions.
Twist is equipped with a number of special features introduced by Coster to meet the needs of the aerosol actuator market, which
is in constant evolution and development.
Twist incorporates the twist-lock closure system, which prevents accidental actioning of the actuator. To action the actuator it is necessary first to rotate the blocking ring, which frees
up the button and the actuator orifice.
Twist is equipped with a newly-conceived warranty seal, easily visible at the back. Before using the actuator for the first time,
it is necessary to remove the warranty seal that blocks the action of the twist-lock system.
Both the rotation block ring and the actuator body can be produced in any number
of different opaque or translucent colours.
The actuator is available in both micromist insert and directional insert versions.
The former is suitable for alcohol-based deodorants, sun-sprays, hair sprays etc.; the latter is suitable for products containing powders in suspension, such as anti-perspiration deodorants (AP), dry shampoos and so on.
