The new Prelude™ dispenser wraps the superb performance of Calmar's Pure Path™ technology in a clean new look. In contrast to the contoured shape of the Aria® (with which it shares the same pump engine), the Prelude has a squared-off, flat head that works well with angular packaging designs. Its two-piece closure is available in either a straight-side or tapered configuration to give package designers multiple aesthetic options.

Along with the larger output Sonata™, Prelude is the latest Calmar dispenser to employ Pure Path™ technology, which places the spring outside the fluid pathway. This patent-pending design eliminates corrosion problems and enables both pumps to handle a wide range of product formulations with less costly preservatives. Both also include Calmar's unique actuator lock-up feature, which eliminates the need for a hood or locking clip.
