Key Trends dictating HCT’s New Product Development and New Launches for 2007A combination of a rapidly expanding global engineering and design teams has resulted in a portfolio of new launches for HCT in 2007 that are every bit as innovative in terms of their functionality as they are aesthetically.

Group Creative Director Rebecca Goswell says “Internally, we have made the conscious decision to move away from conventional range development towards packaging solutions led by the requirements of new active formula and products.”

The new ‘Reverse Click’ range will be suitable not only for colour cosmetics, but also the growing cosmoseutical and skin treatment market sectors, where product specific functionality and pack ingenuity is key.

To also accommodate the increase in demand from many of HCT’s global customers for limited edition and gift style promotions, HCT Metals was launched in November 2006.

Rebecca Goswell continues: “Brands are finding that they can quickly and easily create a ‘limited edition’ promotional launch to sit along side their core lines if they move to metal components.”

HCT will be presenting a comprehensive library of designs and new metal standards, such as the Chop Box at Cosmoprof Bologna, they will exhibit in Hall 19, Booth E61- F13
