Police is one of the leading Italian men’s fragrances,’ said Mark Devonald Smith, Group Sales Director for Perfumery and Personal Care for the international STO glass group. ‘This bottle is a triumph of glass moulding combined with tight tolerance on the shoulder accessory to produce an iconic bottle that reflects the brand image.’

Police Wings is produced in 100ml and 50ml sizes. The rectangular bottle with rounded edges and straight shoulders has a raised panel in the centre of each bottle. ‘This is a symbolic image of police sunglasses,’ said Mark.

The bottles are sprayed black by STO with a gothic “P” between two wings hot stamped in white. The metal shoulders have been designed to follow the lines of the bottles. Careful design and production were required to achieve a perfect fit, which was achieved by Candiani, who also supplied the cylindrical caps. STO have hot stamped the shoulders with the Police brand name in black.’

The Police Wings fragrance is very masculine; spicy and woody notes are combined with fern and ambergris.

The Italian Mavive company markets a number of fragrances throughout Europe and various of their products, including Police, are now available at a wide variety of UK outlets, including Boots, Superdrug and Debenhams. ‘At STO, we are proud to have been chosen to produce a number of custom designed bottles for this leading perfumery house,’ said Mark.
