Barbecuing is what people like most in the warmer part of the year. As market researchers know, there is more to it than the simple preparation of food: Barbecuing is a part of our modern lifestyle. At parties, hobby grill masters in particular want to show how cool they are.

The new Kotányi grill jar is the perfect answer to today’s consumer demands. Due to its sophisticated one-hand mechanical construction, the jar can be easily opened with one hand. The second hand can be used to turn the grillables, to poke the fire or to hold a drink. The lid solution of the PP jar has two openings of different sizes – one for pouring and one for sprinkling. Another benefit of the new grill jar is close at hand in the true sense of the phrase: Indentations on the surface of the sides of the jar mean that it can be held properly and safely while seasoning food.

Kotányi offers six blends of grill seasonings in a new package: Barbecue, Fish, Mexico Extra Hot, Cutlet Extra Tender, Vegetable and Poultry. A novelty is Cutlet Extra Tender. To make this blend of seasonings, Kotányi uses a special technology for the treatment of salt to prevent the meat from becoming dry during grilling.

The new grill jar is also at the centre of two current competitions. Kotányi is calling its customers to nominate the ’Grillman 2007’. Participants are being asked to post an unusual photo of themselves with the new grill jar on the internet under www.kotanyi.com/grill. The 51st Austrian Packaging Competition, in which the innovative grill jar was nominated to take part, is something different. Every year at this competition, the Federal Minister for Economy and Labour confers the “National Award Exemplary Packaging“ and the “Nominations for the National Award Exemplary Packaging“ for complex solutions in the packaging business.
