ScottsMiracle-Gro and ProAmpac win 2019 AmeriStar Award

The 2019 AmeriStar Award has been presented to ScottsMiracle-Gro in partnership with packaging leader ProAmpac for their bio-plastic based design of the Miracle-Gro Performance Organics growing media packaging, which made its commercial debut this spring. Amcor completes acquisition of Bemis, creating the global leader in packaging

Amcor has announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Bemis Company Inc., effective 11 June 2019. The combined company will now operate as Amcor Plc (Amcor), trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “AMCR” and the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker symbol “AMC.” Amcor is included in both the S&P 500 and S&P/ASX 200 indices.

HCPA to organize day 1 of the ADF conference program at ADF&PCD New York 2019

The Aerosol & Dispensing Forum (ADF) and Packaging of Perfume, Cosmetics & Design’s (PCD) New York event will be entering it’s 4th year as North America’s only dedicated event for the aerosol, dispensing, perfume and cosmetic packaging and design community. For the first time in the history of ADF New York, HCPA will be tasked with bringing together leading experts from household brands to discuss the trends impacting the aerosol industry.
