Recently, the external certification audit of Aarts Plastics (a firm headquartered in The Netherlands) was conducted by DNV, Det Nosrske Veritas.  It was an exceptional challenge for the company to be audited for three management systems. ISO 14001 and Corporate Social Responsibility were part of the audit as well as ISO 9001 conformity, all of which Aarts passed with flying colours.

The management at Aarts Plastics decided two years ago to focus on environmental and corporate social responsibility. Initiatives were taken at all levels of the company. To demonstrate Aarts Plastics' accomplishments in these areas, the team decided to involve the accredited firm Det Norske Veritas to have these initiatives audited. The audit was a huge success, vindicating Aarts' efforts and ensuring public recognition of measures taken to date.
