ACMI UK Ltd, part of ACMI SpA, a world leader in palletising and end of line packaging machinery, has a vacancy for a Field Service Engineer due to the continued growth of the UK Operation. The vacancy is an excellent opportunity for a person with skills in electronics & PLC programming. Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience would also be preferable.

The position entails working with existing customers both in the UK and Ireland catering for Installation and commissioning of new installations, site surveys, overhaul and repair of machines at the customer’s premises.

The role will involve extensive travel in the UK and Ireland to our customer's premises, which will require frequent nights away from home. Furthermore, visiting our company headquarters in Italy will also be necessary.

The successful candidate will be required to work using his own initiative to achieve the highest standards possible, to have both strong technical and communication skills in order to liaise with customer personnel.

A thorough understanding of UK Health and safety regulation is required.
