AMS are proud to announce the launch of their first heavy stock printer, the AMS Ilumina. The impressive digital laser printer can print on stock up to 500gsm, heavier and thicker than any other comparable printer.

This versatile machine can print on to media sizes from A6 to SRA3, banner lengths of up to 1.3m and transparent media, enabling it to easily produce high quality marketing, packaging and POS items. It also comes with a high capacity production feeder that can hold up to 700 sheets, allowing users to print up to 50 pages per minute.

Resolutions of up to 2400 dpi for exceptional sharpness, clarity and colour can be reached and the HD Laser Safe toner ensures that colour and tone have depth. Unlike traditional laser technology, there are no moving parts within the LED mechanism for greater reliability.

When purchasing the Ilumina printer users also get an all-in-one solution including a moveable machine cabinet, a high speed feeder, and a high powered laptop, pre-installed with iQueue X colour workflow software. This multi-user software includes advanced file management and colour editing tools which enable users to print the exact colours they need first time.

The launch of the Ilumina will take place at the Label & Print 2015 Expo on 25th & 26th February at the NEC Birmingham.
