Sustainability and digital – is digital the way forward for being a more sustainable business?

Panel Debate

Every day, we send emails, we surf the web, we archive videos, photos or music in the Cloud. We often feel that the whole process is immaterial and almost free, but it is not. Computer, ADSL boxes, routers, cables, servers, storage units, telecommunication equipment: the equipment needed is real. Just like the consumption of energy and non-renewable resources to make and operate them.

Does the design of packaging have an impact on business?

In an evolving retail marketplace, companies will need to consider a lifecycle approach to designing product and packaging to meet varying requirements of online and offline retailers, growing customer preferences and a changing regulatory landscape. Both online retailers and producers will need to work together amidst this changing landscape and take a close look at their products, packaging materials, processes, logistics and end of life management to drive material efficiencies and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

Is design a weapon to make packaging more innovative?

Over the years, the ADF and PCD Awards have become a veritable institution for cosmetic packaging and the aerosol and dispensing system industry markets. The goal of these ADF&PCD Awards is to reward and highlight cosmetics, aerosol and dispensing system innovations placed on the European and international market in the course of 2017. Two prestigious juries made up of experts, professionals and journalists, assessed 73 candidates. The nominations have been made and the awards will be presented at the upcoming edition of ADF&PCD Paris.

ADF&PCD Paris 2018 "The place to be" for 2 days of business at the heart of the first, leading packaging event of the year

ADF&PCD 2018, organized by EASYFAIRS ORIEX, already stands out as exceptional: a unique concept that groups together two highly synergistic events. The first, leading packaging event of the year, it is no doubt the European professional reference in aerosol, spray and dispensing systems and cosmetics packaging innovation. Every year, it brings together all the players in perfumes & cosmetics, in addition to the pharmaceutical, food, automotive and other sectors. An event not to be missed, ADF&PCD has long been acclaimed by brands and industry.

Why have ADF&PCD Paris 2018 become an absolute must?

Modern packaging conveys emotions and provides real added value. Emerging technologies make packaging ever more attractive, but behind the apparent simplicity of an end product lies a whole world of innovations at work, constantly on the watch, and in a state of perpetual evolution. Paris will once again, in 2018, be the capital of innovation and packaging solutions thanks to ADF&PCD PARIS 2018 on 31st January and 1st February at Porte de Versailles (Pavillon 7), Paris.
