ADF&PCD PARIS 2018, the professional event dedicated to packaging solutions for aerosols, spray and dispensing systems and cosmetics, has just drawn to a close and breaks new records – with 7,224 attending professionals, hundreds of innovations showcased by exhibitors, and packed out ADF & PCD Awards ceremonies.
This incredible success confirms the positioning of the event, which has become the key show for the European market in these sectors.
Taking place on 31 January and 1 February 2018, ADF&PCD PARIS 2018 exceeded all its goals, both in terms of quantity (visitors & exhibitors) and quality. Nearly 500 exhibitors from were present in Paris, a growth of over 25% compared with the 2017 edition. They spent two busy days meeting Managing Directors, Packaging Directors, Innovations Directors, Purchasing Directors, R&D Managers, Designers, Marketing & Development Directors from all the major brands and also the smaller emerging companies, who came to discover the innovative, diversified offers on the stands and to enjoy the numerous new features at the event.

Visitors were enthralled by the numerous highlights at the event
Over 70 presentations and round tables with a focus on transfers of technologies, digital and sustainable development; 2 Awards ceremonies, which drew such crowds that there was standing room only; the Accelerator, featuring start-ups with a promising future; the Innovation & Technology Theatre, a new conference area at the heart of the event dedicated to interactive product presentations; and the Pentawards Exhibit, a showcase of the most creative achievements in packaging design in 2017.
The ADF and PCD Awards
The show was punctuated by the ADF and PCD Awards, which rewarded the most outstanding innovations of the year. The two juries made up of the industry’s most revered professionals, experts and journalists, who judged 73 entries. 9 Awards and 11 diplomas were handed out for PCD and 8 Awards and 6 diplomas for ADF.
The PCD audience also benefited this year from an opening keynote by COTY Luxury on «Craftsmanship behind fragrance success stories» by Gaël Le Bourgès, Director R&D Luxury Packaging Europe for Coty, who exclusively announced the group’s latest launch.
Emphasis on trends and innovations
Exhibitors made the most of the event to present new products and demonstrate their know-how on their stands. Visitors thus found new sources of inspiration and a concentrate of innovations clustered in single area over a two-day period.
