Heineken, L’Oréal, forceMAJEURE, Pepsico, Beiersdorf and Fashion Institute of Technology are just some of the major names taking to the stage at ADF&PCD New York 2018, North America’s only dedicated event for the aerosol, dispensing, perfume & cosmetic packaging and design community.
Visitors to the exclusive two-day event, which takes place on September 5 & 6, at the Altman Building & Metropolitan Pavilion, will not only be able to network with major names, but also see an unrivalled inspirational conference program, featuring some of the most well respected brands from the aerosol, dispensing, perfume and cosmetic packaging industry.
Alli McEntyre-Gaharan, Event Director of the ADF&PCD Portfolio, comments: “Our speaker line-up features an array of award-winning design agencies and industry-leading beauty and personal care brands, all of whom will be delivering high quality sessions. Each talk will focus on one of the industry’s hottest topics - innovation, technology transfer or sustainability, offering plenty of choice and educational content for our attendees. I personally can’t wait to see what they have to say, bringing their expertise and experience to our showfloor.”
The Aerosol & Dispensing Conference 2018 has been designed to help attendees overcome the challenges they face on a day-to-day basis. Leading minds, such as Jeff Townsend from L'Oréal USA, Steve Caldeira from Household & Commercial Products Association, Bernhard Felten from Beiersdorf and Scott Carpenter from Formulated Solutions, are all set to take to the stage. The subjects being covered range from market trends and the future of the global aerosol industry, through to sustainable developments and aerosol innovation.
The Pentawards talks include Mark van Iterson, Heineken’s Global Design Director, discussing ‘packaging trends - what now, what’s new and what’s next?’ and PepsiCo’s Matthieu Aquino, Vice President, Global Beverage Design & Brand Experience, exploring ‘cross-industry innovation.’ The who’s who of industry experts continue, including ForceMAJEURE’s founder, Laurent Hainault and Jonathan Ford, founding partner and CEO of Pearlfisher.
Visitors will also have the unique opportunity to interact and network with the likes of Skinergies, DexterDexterDexter, Antonia Burrell and Peclers Paris, as part of the Indie Beauty Brand Lunch & Learn Workshop. The PCD conference itself will focus on ‘Packaging Renaissance 2018-2020’, with the experts presenting ‘Is Tech Fuelling a Renaissance in Packaging Design?’; ‘Indie Brand Packaging sets the stakes high’ and ‘Beauty's Mini Revolution: The Big Business of Tiny Packages’. Plus, attendees will be able to take part in an interactive worship with the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Alli McEntyre-Gaharan concludes: “The show offers visitors the unique opportunity to meet, interact and exchange ideas with the world’s leading experts and packaging gurus. With everyone under one roof, it is only chance visitors have to join these major brands and spend some quality time with their peers, learning from the best in the process. It is not to be missed!”
