Albéa is proud to participate with Arcade Beauty and Axilone in project Reload™. Reload™ is a new design concept for a mini refillable and customizable spray dispenser that can be taken anywhere.

Creating new opportunities in the perfume industry, Reload is shaking up old standards for samples, travel size products, and other refillable perfume products by offering consumers a new and innovative design concept.

Reload offers three major advantages:

It is refillable, allowing for the portability of your fragrance by using a refillable flask compatible with all vials. It offers the opportunity to discover new fragrances from leading brands since the collection's refills are sold at the attractive price of €5. Finally, Reload can be personalized by the use of customized interchangeable cases.

Made in France according to the luxury goods industry's standards of excellence, it is the first mini-spray in the world to operate with a patented refill system for a quality experience.

Albéa worked closely with Arcade Beauty, a world leader in samples and travel size products filling, on project coordination and filling. Albéa also worked with Flacopharm on the 5ml silk-screened vial and with Axilone on injection and on the flask cover.  Upon Arcade Beauty's recommendation, Albéa is contributing to the launch of Reload by introducing the global standard for mini-pump fragrances: The pump SP5K. This engine offers impeccable spray quality creating an unforgettable sensory experience that will foster consumer loyalty.

In order to safely and easily refill the Mini Spray Reload, sold separately as a refill equipped with the SP5K pump, Albéa has developed an exclusive retention mechanism to hold the engine in place. Additionally, this part ensures the exclusivity of Reload’s unique design due to its precise dimensions. The SP5K engine is thus perfect for travel and as a purse spray.

Reload has all the performance benefits of the SP5K engine, the industry standard, ensuring a superior spray quality. Launched in 1999, the SP5K was the first neutral, miniaturized pump. It provides the protection and neutrality required for delicate formulas thanks to its glass ball and to the lack of contact between the fragrance and any metal parts. In addition, it is compatible with most fragrances.

Well-reputed in the industry for its reliability and resilience, the completely transparent Crystal SP5K pump looks very discrete on the bottle. In the last 15 years, over 3 billion of these pumps have been sold, and the sample, travel, and miniature pumps are available in either a plastic or metal finish.

Albéa, has already produced more than 10 billion samples at its Tréport site (in Normandy, France), a global centre of excellence in samples and travel size products. Albéa has partnered with Arcade Beauty for over 20 years, bringing its expertise and experience to automated filling operations.
