Albéa invests to support its lipstick leadership

Albéa, global leader in Lipstick packaging, is investing in a new high-speed assembly line for its guided mechanism Baystick at its Plouhinec, France facility.

Baystick is the market reference for softer Lipstick formulas. It works seamlessly and its beveled edge boasts soft rims for a perfect, comfortable application. Baystick features in the Rouge Interdit Vinyl by Givenchy and in many other prestigious references.

Our Albéa Plouhinec facility (in Brittany, France) provides "made in France" expertise and integrated capabilities in injection, decoration and assembly. It is Albéa's European centre of excellence for the lipstick mechanism and pack.

Albéa is investing to support this ambition with the installation of a new high-speed assembly line for Baystick in January 2016. This latest-generation equipment, designed and built in France, will increase Albéa Plouhinec's production capacity and support the market trend towards softer formulas. The ultra-modern line will contribute to the site's industrial performance. It is part of the massive 2016-2018 investment plan for Albéa Plouhinec.

Baystick belongs to Lipsticks & Co, Albéa's expertise platform for lipsticks, lip balms and face sticks. Lipsticks & Co combines technical expertise, industrial know-how and creativity to develop and make innovative stock items as well as custom packs.

Our product range includes efficient mechanisms and exceptional packaging for every formula: guided mechanisms (among which Baystick, the market reference) and non-guided ones (including the famous R2000), plastic mechanisms, pen-sticks, solutions for new routines (such as the recently-launched LipKiss) or sophisticated formulas.

Our industrial facilities across the world ensure rapid and reliable developments and can support global launches.
