Albéa Publishes its 2019 CSR Report and its Sustainable Development Strategy 2020-2025

    • Albéa

    One mission: Protecting Beauty

“At a time when we are experiencing an unprecedented health, economic and social crisis, our vision of a responsible business makes more sense than ever. Indeed, this crisis is revealing what matters most: trust, partnership, team spirit and sustainable development. Consumers, including “conscious consumers”, brands, packaging manufacturers, formulators and transporters... we are all customers and suppliers to each other. Together, we form the same value chain. Therefore, we must protect Beauty.”

    François Luscan
    President and CEO, Albéa

An ambitious 2020-2025 CSR strategy that puts the circular economy at the heart of its business model

A conviction? There is no responsible packaging without a responsible company.

A certainty? Beauty packaging will be circular, or it won't be. It is by working as an ecosystem that we will be able to build the circular economy of Beauty.

Albéa has built its 2020-2025 CSR by questioning its stakeholders upstream and by getting involved in sectoral or global initiatives bringing together leaders in the Beauty and value chain. Led by the management and driven by a reinforced governance, the Group's CSR strategy is built around 3 pillars, 11 working axes, ambitious and realistic objectives, clear action plans, shared and supported by the Group's operational functions. In this way, Albéa wishes to report its progress in a transparent and quantified way.

In a market with shorter lead-times and smaller order sizes, digital technology is obviously part of the solution – from digital printing to collaborative platforms via data sharing in real-time. Together with our partner and global specialist of the industrial graphic chain Esko, we have developed pre-press tools for digital printing, as well as a collaborative platform to manage projects within our industrial facilities, across sites, and directly with our customers or their design agencies.
