    Albeas POM-free fragrance pumps

    Albéa manufactures environmentally-friendly fragrance pumps with no POM.

    This push to remove Formaldehyde-based material as POM (Polyacetal) from fragrance pumps is the concrete action of the Albéa group towards sustainability and the production of responsible packaging – packaging which is safe, has a low environmental impact and contributes to the circular economy.

    In 2019, 50% of the Albéa’s fragrance range is POM-free, and the objective is to achieve 100% before the end of 2020.

    “We anticipate and go beyond the REAch legislation by offering a 100% POM-free fragrance range before the end of 2020. This decision is key as part of our sustainability strategy to source environmentally-friendly raw materials respectful of the environment and employees in our production sites”, explains Gilles Swyngedauw, Sustainability, Innovation & Marketing Director.

    Albéa group is the leader in fragrance pumps with two centers of excellence based in France (Le Tréport) and in the USA (Thomaston, CT).
