Berry Introduces PCR and Invests to Meet Wipes Packaging Demand

  • Berry Global

To help meet customers’ sustainability goals and in line with Berry Global’s Impact 2025 sustainability strategy, Berry M&H is now able to offer its complete container and lid pack solution for wipes – available in 2 litre and 800ml sizes - incorporating 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material.

In addition, to meet growing demand for wipes packaging during the current Covid-19 pandemic, and to provide customers with a fast response and security of supply, the company has also invested in additional capacity for the production of the 2 litre container.

Both containers offer safe and easy handling for the end consumer, with an extensive decoration area and wide selection of decoration technologies to create individualised branding and high impact on-shelf.

The lid closures feature a click hinge for reliable reclosing to ensure that the wipes are kept moist within the pack. They are available with a choice of aperture options, including 5mm, 9mm and 13mm holes, and 13m and 28mm cross feature, making them suitable for a wide variety of wipe formats and materials.
