Egnite is a shining combination of decoration and innovation in tube packaging. EPL's Egnite uses metallic films to create a metallic gloss which could otherwise only be achieved with embossing. By cleverly designing the printed image, it means that embossing is not necessary with this form of decoration.
Furthermore, the normal use of an aluminium layer in the laminate is deliberately avoided here. With a haptic and barrier effect comparable with standard laminates, when using Egnite, tube wall thickness can be reduced so that this laminate also offers sustainability benefits.
