As we do every year, Faiveley plast beauty –VPI participated in the PCD (Packaging of Perfume Cosmetic & Design) trade show in Paris Porte de Versailles. On Thursday 19 January, the division received an Award in the Skin Care Category during the Award Innovation Ceremony organized by the PCD.

Chanel has requested that VPI develop a set of cream jars dedicated to the Japanese “Golden Age” market. After a marketing study, expectations and improvements were set to reduce the screw force required of the lid and not to have a lid / pot orientation any longer.

The innovation of the system developed is to maintain a tightness similar to a screw top. Friction and noise phenomena were completely solved by mechanical modifications and appropriate material choices. Today, all these efforts allowed Faiveley Plast Beauty (VPI) to win an Award at PCD 2017!

The project was a team project that is thus rewarded because other parts of the group, such as Sepal and Grand-Perret, helped VPI to transform the beauty movement and make it a real pleasure, improving consumer satisfaction.

Congratulations to all!
