Global Closure Systems was recognised for ‘Winning Through Innovation’ by Unilever, one of the world’s leading suppliers of fast moving consumer goods at their global event ‘Partner to Win’ in London this week.

GCS’s use of novel moulding technology, which delivered a new consumer proposition for the Axe/Lynx men’s shower gel re-launch was cited as one of the key reasons for the award together with their "speed of light" development, which enabled Unilever to re-launch Clear Anti-Dandruff shampoo simultaneously in record time. The company has also been supporting Unilever’s growth in D&E markets with low cost regional manufacturing hubs in Poland and Thailand and further investments for the business in Russia, Brazil and Mexico. Christian Voegeli, CEO and Gavin O’Nians, Key Account Director accepted the award on behalf of GCS.
