Gerresheimer’s new products at Luxepack 2016

“Our creations for customers demonstrate how glass design and decorative finishing techniques can give brands a unique and distinctive identity. They can be manufactured in a vast array of colors and shapes. In fact, there are practically no limits on the design options available to us,” said Bernd Stauch, Senior Sales Director Cosmetics. Gerresheimer has two specialist production plants for cosmetic glass packaging in Tettau/Germany and Momignies/Belgium. Visitors to Luxepack can find Gerresheimer in the Grimaldi Forum at Stand RC9.

Playboy Woman and Playboy Man (Coty). There are 40, 60 and 90 ml bottles for Playboy Woman, while Playboy Man is available in the sizes of 50 and 100 ml. The bottle front has the famous PLAYBOY name engraved on it and the back features an engraving of the bunny logo. The fragrance names are applied in a single color screen printing process.

Playfull for women and Full Play for men (Mäurer+Wirtz) are two new fragrance compositions by Otto Kern. Both bottles are flat, rounded and taper slightly towards the base. They are available in 30 and 50 ml sizes and feature single color screen printing.

The bottles for the new S.Oliver For Him and S.Oliver For Her (Mäurer+Wirtz) fragrances are sporty and elegant. Square in design and made of transparent glass, the bottles feature vertical ridges and stand on a solid glass base. Both come in 30 and 50 ml sizes and are labelled in a single color screen printing process.

The bottle for the Happydisiac Eau de Toilette for Man (Oriflame) features a “smile“. It is implemented as a groove in the bottle surface, creating a 3D effect. The bottle is dégradé sprayed in green with texts applied in a single color screen printing process. The transparent bottle for Venture (Oriflame) has a wide shoulder and features a raised floral pattern.

The Star Wars bottles’ design was inspired by the iconic lightsaber. A metallized finish gives them the appearance of a technical product. The fragrances are retailed in 40 and 60 ml sizes.

The jar for Lancôme Energie de Vie Nuit and the bottle for Lancôme Energie de Vie Liquid Care (L’Oréal) feature a vivid green dégradé finish that promises freshness and skin revitalization. A hint of grey gives the glass a matte silky appearance. The jar is 75 ml and the bottle is 30 ml in size.

Biotherm Blue Therapy Cream-in-Oil and Blue Therapy Lift & Blur (L’Oréal) .The new jars for these anti-aging products feature distinctive, silk-matte dégradé finishes in orange and purple. Both come in 50 and 100 ml sizes and are labelled in a single color screen printing process.

Gerresheimer is investing a mid-double-digit million Euro figure in the new plant in the North Macedonian capital of Skopje, an amount that is already included in the company’s medium-term investment plans. Construction is beginning in the first half of 2019, with completion scheduled for the first half of 2020. It is expected that start of production will take place in the second half of 2020.
