Only fifteen days to go before the kick-off of the big makeup event!

Meetings, conferences, animations..., MakeUp in NewYork will be the U.S. East Coast Beauty event of this Fall season. Over two days, some 3,000 visitors are expected, on September 19 and 20.

An eagerly awaited event by Marketing, R&D and Purchasing teams of brands - large or small -, at a time when the makeup sector is certainly one of the most dynamic segment in the Beauty sphere. Not to be missed either, the Innovation Tree, featuring dozens of new products, not to mention the specially devised animations, by ChicStudios.

This year, at MakeUp in NewYork, ChicStudios will offer visitors makeup applications and makeup touch-ups (smokey eyes, contouring, glitter over eyes, or luxe lips) and will offer all guests a makeup brush.

The creativity of makeup students reflects an incredible capacity for renewal, well in tune with the innovation and resourcing capacity of industrial players in this sector. ChicStudios, teaches students fundamentals of makeup artistry, while providing techniques and a well-rounded education in professional makeup.

ChicStudios is a leading national makeup artistry school, teaching through course instruction, live hands-on lessons and opportunities for graduates via the 'CHICPro Community'. ChicStudios is a licensed school by the NY State Education Department.

The attraction, the Innovation Tree!

24 exhibitors submitted a total of 53 products at the Innovation Contest, organized as usual, for the next MakeUp in NewYork trade show. The selected products will be presented on the unavoidable Innovation Tree, now well known to exhibitors and visitors of MakeUp In events in the world.

Note that 80% of these products were designed in the first and second quarter of 2017. This means these innovations will premiere at the show for U.S. visitors. These innovations actually epitomize all the trends observed: ultra light formulas, matte textures, metal and iridescent effects, packagings that take the shape of fun to use pens and jumbos, increasingly precise and easy to use accessories,etc.

Emotions and métissage in Paris!

The eighth edition of MakeUp in Paris will be driven both by emotions linked to make-up and by new trends resulting from the métissage of populations in the world. Patrice Bellon, President of the Société Française de Cosmétologie (SFC) with Arnaud Aubert, Abstract, will describe the emotional evaluation of pleasure and well-being in relation with the use of make-up products, and Aïmara Coupet, dark skin expert, specialized in marketing and product development, will explain why creating make-up products for dark to very dark skin is still a challenge....
