The MakeUp in LosAngeles organization is putting together a strong lineup of influential speakers to discuss the major trends and challenges of an ever-changing industry.

Successfully launched in Paris in June, the Color Wave by BEAUTYSTREAMS will be displayed at the MakeUp in shows worldwide – New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai, and Seoul. The Color Wave is a global project created to identify the key color movement for the upcoming year and help brands apply the shades to the respective regions, in which they operate. In each region, the color trend is uniquely adapted to local tastes and skin tones.

Makeup in Paris breaks a new record with more than 80 new products submitted to the IT products selection!

Since the launch of the competition in 2015, the Selection Committee had never received so many products to evaluate! Formulas abound with more than 35 novelties revisiting make-up classics, in the image of powders through the personalization and sensoriality of their textures but also transformation formulas with never seen before effects.

What's to hear at MakeUp in Paris 2018?

The ninth edition of MakeUp in Paris is about to open! As for the previous years, the edition will take place from the 21st to the 22nd of June at the prestigious Carrousel du Louvre! This year, we are expecting more than 12 conferences, gathering a total number of 28 speakers all more passionate than the others!

Makeup in Paris 2018, sneak preview part 2!

As promised last week, here is the second part of MakeUp in Paris 2018's program! This year's edition will be held from the 21st to the 22nd of June at the very prestigious Carrousel du Louvre. Over 150 exhibitors will be gathered for this edition that promises to be unique! Why unique? Because amongst the exhibitors from the Formula, Packaging, Accessories and Ingredients, this year's edition will feature exhibitors from the Skincare industry!

Next February 8th, from 2:30 to 4 pm, you’ll know (almost) everything you always wanted to know (without daring to ask) about the most widely used cosmetic applicators. Seven experts will provide a comprehensive view, including Gerald Martines, founder of IN•SIGNES, consultants in Strategy, Marketing and Innovation.

Ideas and innovation galore at the next MakeUp in LosAngeles

Out of the 70 products submitted this year at the Innovation Tree Products Competition, 30 were expertly picked by the Jury members! You will be able to admire, touch and even test them directly in a few days on the stands of the lucky winners. But that's not all! Students from the Chic STUDIO Makeup School will also assess these products at the stands of each exhibitor concerned to eventually single out their three "favorites".

Influencer marketing has become a key strategic area for brands as social media is becoming an essential source of information and the center of trust. At the next conference event of the MakeUp in LosAngeles, on February 7 at 2:45 pm, experts in the field will share their vision and discuss on the future of influencers.

Mascara brushes, of course, but also applicators for tubes and airless systems and the unavoidable brushes.
