MakeUp in Los Angeles: The exhibitors love it!

Following on last years' success story, the Fourth edition of MakeUp in LosAngeles (together with Luxe Pack for their second edition) opens its doors on the 27th and 28th of February 2019!

In a unique venue (an old plane hangar), the main players of the make-up world will be gathered and will conduct business thus contributing to the dynamism of this ever-changing industry. This year's edition was record-breaking, in terms of visitors, 3,900+, number of participants to the conferences, 1,300+, and business for the greater benefit and delight of all!

ALBEA
Absolutely loved the event and organisation. It was lovely being part of the round table, sharing about applicators! Very good initial presentation about applicators!

ANCOROTTI
It has been a well-organized trade-show, the location was good and there wasn’t too much chaos. We worked easily in a nice atmosphere. We had a lot of contacts and we had meeting with our customers and we also met with some new ones, which is perfect! We will probably come back next year, because it is a great occasion to increase our customer network and improve and maintain the relationship with those who are already our clients.

APC PACKAGING
It was a great show! Great location. We will come back for sure. We got about 32 leads total. Thanks again for a great show.

ARCADE
We met with over 100 people - perhaps up to 200. We met with 45 potential new companies and 22 existing companies visited our booth. Yes, I will come back. I think it’s a great way for us to see lots of people in 2 days.

B. KOLORMAKEUP
Compared to the 2 first editions more people attended the show. It’s getting known and considered but most of the brands.  It opened the doors to clients coming out from the west coast and to a few international ones that we haven't see in the past. We have seen all the ones we planned plus a few more.

BARALAN
The 3rd Edition was the best so far, we enjoyed a full two days of activity in our booth which is unheard of at most shows these days. The attendees were qualified and obviously there to do business. The venue worked very well and seemed to be enjoyed by most people attending.

We had over 50 actual inquiries and that does not include the additional industry people that we spoke to without making written notes. Yes, we will come back next year, we look forward to exhibiting next year, perhaps in a larger space.

BRIVAPLAST
It was a very good show for us with a lot of quality contacts, including some customers we had never been in contact with before. We've noticed an increased number of visitors and, typically LA, felt a lot of energy from the market, even more than last year.

As usual, the conferences were focused on important matters and some of them tackled our specific business. We had 35 good meetings. We will be back next year.

CHROMAVIS
The overall impression on the show Is very positive. A nice and well located venue with very good service. The market is very reactive and interesting, it confirms that trade-shows like these are essential!

COSFIBEL
Lot of potential small clients. Very dynamic. Mainly primary items. We had around 100 contacts. Will be there next year for sure!!

COSMEI
It was our first time at MakeUp in LosAngeles but unfortunately it wasn’t a big success - we think that it was since we weren’t on the American market before. Anyway, next year will be better!

COSMETIC GROUP
“Cosmetic Group USA, loved the new venue in LOS ANGELES this year. It was a beautiful setting for the growing number of brands who exhibit and the addition of LUXE PACK.  I loved our location and the number of clients we met with far exceeded previous shows.  Thanks to you and everyone at Beauteam for another great show!

COSMOGEN
The show so far has been great. We were quite surprised by the EAST Coast customers attending this West Coast show. Very good leads, from small, medium to large customers. The quality of attendees is impressive. We had over 140 leads and 80% were solid contacts. Will be back next year for sure!

CRYSTAL CLAIRE
Again the show was a huge success for us! We had over 100 contacts. YES, we will be back next year.

DING YIH
Basically & honestly, I will say, it’s a pretty good show for us this year at MakeUp in LosAngeles. For the sign up for next Year, when it’s the deadline for signing up? We are currently busy with the CNY shutting down.

FS KOREA
It was good. Because, Exhibition size is much bigger than before. As you know, Luxe Pack and MakeUp in LosAngeles was combined. So, more visitors and dynamic that before. We contacted around 100 visitors. Yes, we will come back next year.

GEKA
More foot traffic, more vendors, show is growing nicely. We had at least 30-35 customers and networking with other vendors (ideas, customer’s names exchange etc.)
Yes, we will be back next year!

GINA KOHLER

GOOD YEAR
I think it’s good to merge with Luxe Pack show together. At least more visitors come to visit the show. Especially benefits our packaging business.

GOTHA
Nice show: right size and venue. The number of contacts is not so important, but the quality of meetings. And that was good as a lot of West and East coast brands visited the fair. Yes, we will probably come back.

JIH HSIN GLASS
We want to thank you for putting another great show together. All MakeUp in shows that we attended never cease to exceed expectation. We especially enjoy this times MULA. The show was much more vivid than all previous MULA. We receive 60+ contacts. It would be great if we can have more lunch options. We would definitely go back next year.

LUMSON
Excellent show with a good quality of accounts visiting. Booth design was appealing. Wed we had 54 and Thursday we had 37 = 91 total leads
Studying better booth assignment. Location was superb.  We will come back, and we would like to reconfirm same booth.

Generally, it is better than last year and we did get 4 new contacts and it could be having some new business. Yes. We will be there next year! And see you in Shanghai soon!

It has been a great show considering the contacts and the customers visit received. 2 days are really the perfect solution for this kind of show.  We had 70 contacts in total. We will come back.

This year’s MakeUp in LosAngeles has proven to become one of the most important trade shows in the beauty sector for Schwan Cosmetics. It’s been a perfect event to connect with our customers and partners in the industry. We were very satisfied with the high attendance at our booth as well as with the quality of the discussions. In summary, it was a very successful appearance for us.

We’ve been more than satisfied with the high attendance at our booth, as we’ve cracked our visitor record by having twice as much contacts as we did in 2017.
For me, as the organizer of the show, there’s nothing to improve. Everything was perfectly organized by Beauteam.  We are definitely planning to come back in 2019.

It was definitely a great show, well organized and which gathered main brands from both West and East Coast. It was a great idea to organize this show in conjunction with Luxepack as it has driven even more visitors.
Don’t know precisely how many contacts we had but I can tell that we were very busy those 2 days. Of course, we will come back next year!

We participated MakeUp in LosAngeles for the first time. We had about 60 visitors and are considering now to come back next year.

TAIKI
The venue was great. Overall the show was good. The spacing within the venue was much improved. The traffic within the show was good. We had 40-50 contacts. See you next year.

TOLY
The spirit was dynamic, great show. Good location and very good attendance from customers both in and out of state! Over 90 in two days! For next year, we need a bigger booth!
