PKP releases a line of commercial dispensers geared toward the food market

  • PKP

One of Asia's leading dispenser firms, PKP has released a set of pump dispensers specifically geared towards the food market. The dispensers have been designed to offer flawless and consistent dispensing of viscous liquids.

Originally designed for kitchens and self-serve stations that require ketchup and mustard distribution, these large pumps are perfectly designed to evacuate contents over foodstuffs like burgers, fries, dogs, and others. The nozzle discharges at a 90-degree angle, which allows the fluid to be applied perfectly in the right place. Many large scale restaurants are currently using PKP's pumps for this type of dispensing, though others are experimenting with the concept in order to provide quick dispensing of syrups, chocolate sauce, mayonnaise, and other thick food sauces.

Further, though the plastics used are extremely hygienic and made of food-grade PP, companies in the beauty sector are looking at the pumps for high-traffic dispensing of liquid soaps and gels while other in the pharma space are considering the pump for use in hand sanitizers, washes, and other health-oriented products.

Currently, PKP offers several dispensing volume options, including 30cc, 25cc, 20cc, 15cc, and a tiny 10cc dose for more concentrated products. Also, the line boasts three separate head styles. The DP30-A-90 is the only one of the three that varies slightly in terms of the dispensing angle, with a straight-down nozzle that facilitates dispensing of items vertically.
