Tom Gilmour of Precision Valve UK recognized for lifetime achievements by British Aerosol Manufacturers' Association

Tom Gilmour, Aerosol Chemist at Precision Valve UK (“Precision”), was awarded a Special Achievement Award by the British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (“BAMA”) on October 18th, in recognition of his many contributions to the aerosol industry over the span of his career.

Mr. Gilmour joined the industry in 1971, where he worked for Aerosols International (now Swallowfield Consumer Products). There he held positions in Customer Service, Quality Control and Production Management. He joined Precision in 1985 as an Aerosol Chemist in the Customer Service Laboratory.

Mr. Nicolas Bellan, Precision Regional Manager Europe, said, “Tom is an exemplary Precision team member, and I am very pleased that BAMA has recognized his tremendous contributions to the industry. Tom has played a pivotal role in many key projects at Precision, including the development of innovative aerosol products for such customers as Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, S.C. Johnson, and Procter & Gamble.”

In addition to his work serving customers at Precision, Mr. Gilmour has developed a reputation as a mentor to others in the industry through his involvement at BAMA.
