Precision Global, a leading global manufacturer of aerosol valves, actuators and other dispensing solutions across a variety of end markets, appoints Steve Lawrynuik and Christian Voegeli as new members of the Board of Precision. On November 15, 2018, both joined the Board of the Group as independent Directors and will support Precision with their longstanding industry and management experience.

With more than 20 years in senior leadership and operational roles at Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd, a worldwide leader of injection molding equipment and services for the plastics industry, Mr. Lawrynuik provides valuable experience and know-how to Precision. Steve’s deep business transformation knowledge in various areas such as supply chain, operations, aftermarket, product re-engineering, product line rationalization and restructuring will be of benefit to Precision. “The Board highly appreciates Steve’s experience regarding the execution and management of transforming initiatives,” explained Mario Barbero, Chief Executive Officer of Precision Global, and added: “We are confident that Steve’s competencies will be helpful to strategically support Precision’s future growth.”

Having held several positions in automotive, safety and packaging businesses, Mr. Voegeli possesses more than 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Most recently he served as CEO of Global Closure Systems (GCS), a packaging company specialized in plastic closures and dispensing systems with a net worth of more than $600 million. In this position, Mr. Voegeli has proven his skills in the in-depth transformation of a company from a set of disparate independent units into a solid profitable global business focused on value-added products, innovation and operational excellence. “With his profound understanding of the packaging industry and managing experience, Christian strengthens Precision’s Board,” said Mario Barbero, Group CEO of Precision. “We are convinced that his specific knowledge and background will be a strong pillar to expand Precision’s leading role in the market.”

The two new Directors join Michael Lay and Ryan Mashinter (both ONCAP) as well as Group CEO Mario Barbero on the Board of Precision. “On behalf of the Board and Precision, I would like to cordially welcome Steve and Christian,” explained Ryan Mashinther, Managing Director of ONCAP. “With their outstanding industry know-how and background, both are valuable additions that can help support our strategic course of future growth – organically as well as through acquisitions. With the newly composed Board, Precision will continue to focus on being the best-in-class global supplier to serve customers with reliable and innovative high-quality products.”
