September 2024 – Ballyconnell, Ireland – Pretium Europe is now manufacturing a popular range of “CBM” sports nutrition canisters at its factory in Ballyconnell, Ireland. The CBM product line, which was acquired by Pretium in 2016, is considered the leading brand of sports nutrition packaging in North America and holds a substantial market share among sports and active nutrition brands in the U.S. and Canada.
The first CBM product line available in Europe is the Euro Jar line of 100mm-wide HDPE cylindrical jars. Euro Jars are currently available in 500ml, 750ml, 1000ml and 1250ml sizes, all with a 100-400 neck finish that accepts standard continuous-thread closures. Standard colours include white, black and natural HDPE. They are sold in full pallet quantities and may have minimum order requirements.
According to Mark Howell, Pretium’s Senior Vice President of European Operations, Pretium recognized an opportunity to bring industry-favored HDPE sports nutrition packaging to the UK and Europe. “We looked at what was successful in North America, and compared that to the needs of the market in Europe and the UK,” Howell says. “The Euro Jar line brings the best aspects of the respected CBM product line, and combines it with a profile and size range that is uniquely European.”
Samples are available for all four sizes in the line, and lead times are very reasonable for all sizes.
