Wood shows its limits fast when shape gets demanding. Azzaro’s square cap, developed by Pujolasos, is a clear example of how material behaviour shapes the final result. Square components require stability, uniform grain, and machining accuracy that stays consistent across batches. Any deviation becomes visible immediately, which makes precision a core part of the design.
For this project, the team at Pujolasos focused on material consistency, engraving definition (logo depth and definition calibrated to stay sharp across all productions), and the mechanical behaviour of the cap during assembly. Each step ensured the component performed reliably while reinforcing the structural look of the bottle.
