Quadpack Australia celebrates 10th anniversary

  • Quadpack

It was party time in Melbourne last month, as Quadpack's Australian team celebrated its 10th birthday in the illustrious setting of Eureka 89. The founders, staff, VIP clients and suppliers together raised a toast to a successful first decade.

The decision to establish the office was made over lunch at the Boxing Day test match in 2006. From humble beginnings researching the market in local internet cafés, Quadpack is now a leading provider to the Australian and New Zealand markets.

"It gives us all great pleasure to see how the beauty market here has matured. Many Australian and New Zealand brands today are world class and exporting to all parts of the globe. This year, three of our international top 20 customers are Australian, showing the incredible growth of the Australian market," says Regional Sales Director Jason Smith.

"We would like to acknowledge our suppliers who have helped us offer the highest standards in product and service to our clients. And of course the team in Melbourne has done a great job over the years. Their tireless work, integrity and passion for their clients have been key to our success."

Further growth is on the horizon for the Melbourne office, as it adopts joint headquarters status alongside Quadpack Hong Kong, to service the pan-Asia Pacific market.

Imagine a fragrance accessory that is both an aromatherapy device and a bold fashion statement. Too futuristic and conceptual? Perhaps – but this product exists, has a name and a creator: ‘NI’ was developed in 2018 by designer Amaia Aranzabal as a final-year project at the prestigious Elisava design and engineering school in Barcelona, Spain. The challenge for that year’s graduating class had been set by Quadpack, partnering with Elisava for the first time.
