RPC bpi protec presents 100% recyclable X-EnviroRange

    • RPC bpi

The new X-EnviroPouch and X-EnviroShrink are part of bpi protec’s 100% recyclable X-EnviroRange, which provides a variety of flexible packaging products that offer added value to food manufacturers and retailers, such as increased line speed operation, portion control management, fully recyclable alternatives to traditional non-recyclable methods, and reclosable films.

RPC bpi protec's X-EnviroPouch is a 100% recyclable PE barrier film that delivers both an oxygen and water vapour barrier. Available in white or natural film, X-EnviroPouch’s stand-up properties create greater display flexibility for retailers.

This is further enhanced by a wider choice of pouch sizes and a gloss or matt print finish to allow aesthetically-pleasing designs that maximise brand image and on-shelf impact. For maximum consumer convenience, the bag can also be reclosable with a prestoclose seal or supplied as film on the reel for the packer or filler to form themselves.

Also part of the range is RPC bpi protec’s X-EnviroShrink, which contains a minimum of 30% post-consumer recyclate (PCR) as well as being 100% recyclable itself, making it fully in line with the latest proposals for plastic packaging and one of the most sustainable solutions for the collation and multi-packing of goods.

Using the Sustane recycled polymer from RPC bpi recycled products, its ultra-low carbon footprint enables X-EnviroShrink to set a new standard in shrink film technology, combining recycled content with the full recyclability.

RPC bpi protec is bringing its latest X-EnviroRange products to the Empack 2019 exhibition on 3rd – 4th April in the Netherlands. Visitors to stand 5121DK will see RPC bpi protec’s X-EnviroPouch and X-EnviroShrink sustainable packaging solutions alongside products from its sister company RPC Bebo.

“Our X-EnviroRange is an integral part of our commitment to create products that help to protect the environment and support the requirements of the circular economy,” comments Julie Eller, RPC bpi protec’s Sales Director, “Empack is the ideal show to demonstrate the sustainability of our packaging solutions and we look forward to welcoming visitors to stand 5121DK to explain more.”
