What an exceptional bottle! Having already won a German Design Award, this striking, feeder black whisky bottle gained international recognition at the WorldStar Awards. It resulted as winner in the category “beverages” for its design and the perfect technical execution of the demanding feeder coloration, as well as for the embossing of “Viking Runes”.
Congratulations to the development and production team at Stölzle Flaconnage, the UK site of the Glass Group, involved in this project for their excellence – You did a great job!
“The dark”
This Whisky bottle which has been manufactured in feeder black feeder glass, is a great example of re-using a successful design to create a new product. This stunning bottle was replicated from a bottle dating back to 1876 and shows the striking Viking symbolism, crafted onto the base design of the mould.
“The Dark” comes with the bottle and packaging reflecting Orkney’s Norse and Viking ancestry. The bottle is accompanied by a booklet describing the thinking behind the design on the packaging as well as the whisky content. With only 28,000 bottles produced, this is a unique limited edition spirit.
