ORGANIZATIONAL STATUS

OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and growing the Sales of our West Coast Office with existing and potential accounts within the assigned business territories.

Qualifications, Experience, Requirements

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet or exceed company goals for profitable revenue growth with assigned accounts;
  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in large accounts;
  • Develop, then maintain business in the direct sale of our packaging solutions to the cosmetic and skin care market using consultative selling skills;
  • Responsible for attainment of annual sales goals through new account development and account retention;
  • Work closely with Toly design and development team to provide customers with creative and innovative packaging solutions;
  • Pursue identified business prospects, participating actively in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities;
  • Collaborate with marketing resources define overall sales strategy, and to develop products and solutions responsive to the customer's business;
  • Travel to different territories and participate attend trade shows when required;
  • Conduct weekly team meetings with LA office; manage escalated customer issues and assume responsibility for high customer satisfaction;
  • Maintain a competitive edge by keeping abreast of competition, competitive iilissues, products and markets;
  • Entertain customers, such as lunches and dinners, on a regular basis and within expense budget;
  • Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business within the assigned account base.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required;
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in the packaging or a cross market industry;
  • Expert knowledge of cosmetic and skincare packaging, industry and customers;
  • Strategic sales planning skills;
  • Ability to gain and maintain strong professional relationships;
  • Excellent written and oral skills required;
  • Travel required, both international and domestic (30%).
