We are very proud to announce that the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has awarded us with a Supplier Engagement Rating (SER). Companies with the best SERs are recognized as a Supplier Engagement Leader.

Jenny Wassenaar, VP Sustainability at Trivium, says: “An organization’s average upstream emissions are several times greater than its direct operations. That shows how important it is to work together with our suppliers to reach our sustainability targets. CDP’s rating recognizes the efforts we put into our work sustainability work and shows we’re on the right track.”

CDP, a ranking organization that measures companies’ performance against a range of sustainability criteria, introduced the SER in 2016. The rating measures how effectively companies are engaging their suppliers on climate change. CDP assesses performance on supplier engagement using a company’s response to selected questions on governance, targets, scope 3 emissions accounting, and value chain engagement in the CDP climate change questionnaire.

Our Supplier Engagement Rating comes on the back of an A- rating by the Carbon Disclosure Project in two key categories ‘Climate Change 2020’ and ‘Water Security 2020’. We couldn’t be prouder and feel more motivated than ever to continue our sustainability work.
