One of the biggest challenges facing the packaging industry is how to tackle packaging waste without compromising on performance, and it's exactly the kind of conversation we'll be having at UKPackaging Expo 2026, taking place at the Exhibition Centre, Liverpool on 10-11 November.

We're delighted to welcome Unilever to the exhibition at Stand B50, where sustainability and packaging innovation continue to drive real change.

Some of Unilever's latest progress includes:
✅ Reducing its virgin plastic footprint by 29% since 2019
✅ Achieving 25% recycled plastic across its packaging
✅ Collecting and processing more plastic than it sold
✅ Accelerating the development of paper-based flexible packaging and reuse/refill solutions
✅ Working with industry partners to improve recycling infrastructure and support effective EPR legislation

But these challenges can't be solved by one organisation alone. They require collaboration across the entire packaging value chain, from material suppliers and manufacturers through to brands, retailers and recyclers.

If you're looking for practical insight into the future of sustainable packaging, make sure you visit Unilever at Stand B50 this November.
