Welcome to our second issue of Food by Webpackaging, the interactive digital publication for the food and beverage packaging industry.

Food packaging is slightly different from that of other industries. Whereas pharmaceutical packaging requires a high level of security and beauty packaging seeks to entice the consumer, packaging for foodstuffs must do both. Food and beverage products need to be packaged in sterile packaging to protect the product as well as lure the consumer with a comestible-related promise, such as freshness, tastiness, or healthiness.

This issue of Food is our first offering using the new Webpackaging platform!
