In January 2017, GCC Packaging successfully launched a new brand concept developed by Webpac. The re-branding transformed the company's image from Grace Cosmetics to that of a new, more contemporary, one-stop packaging service provider - GCC Packaging Group.
By working with Webpac Digital Media Group on developing a new logo, branding concept, and web site design project, GCC began its company transformation from solely a colour cosmetic product supplier to a one-stop packaging service provider, including a much wider market range that covers skin care, fragrances, and more.
The branding process took a lot of collective brainstorming and group discussions that included GCC marketing staff and Webpac specialists representing sales, development, and content interests. The result is the new GCC image that satisfies the entire team and fits into the company's development and expansion plans.
With the logo branding complete, Webpac continued with the GCC web project. One of the key tasks to be done was the integration of GCC’s existing WordPress blog, to make it a perfect fit for the site even though it is hosted in a different CMS environment. GCC has been communicating with its audience for many years on WordPress, the regular updates and informative blog posts make GCC a popular reference for colour cosmetic professionals. It was very important to keep this space and upgrade it according to GCC’s new branding design.
Webpac successfully achieved this and made sure GCC’s continuous updates are automatically synced with the GCC site. Visitors see no difference between the two UIs.
