Welcome to the seventh issue of Pharma by Webpackaging!

It has recently been stated that the pharmaceutical space is going through a period of major upheaval, with a host of new regulations, ways of working in the digital space, and international agreements making things more complex than they're ever been. The pharma packaging is therefore set to be affected similarly if the alarmists are correct. We don't think it's any different from how the industry normally works, though there have been some large scale changes of late. No packaging sector, not even the food market, has such strict rules with regard to packaging production, and it only seems to be getting stricter though not to the level that some have indicated. Read on to learn about new trends in the pharmaceutical packaging space as well as discover advancements in materials, formats, and concepts.
