Job Description

The primary role of Content Data Assistant is to collate and review information, inputting it into Webpac’s in-house database. Under the guidance of the Content Manager, the Assistant is required to research possible data sources for clients and do whatever is required to publish the content on the Webpackaging website. Content includes, but is not limited to, catalogues, requests for quote, galleries, news articles, videos, and other assets. The Content Data Assistant will contact clients frequently to determine product data mechanisms and timelines as well as be required to write industry-related articles in English for an international audience in addition to clarifying and posting data efficiently. The role of the Content Data Assistant is fundamental to providing users with an excellent experience.

Daily activities include:

  • Re-working data into a usable format to import into the in-house system
  • Manual data entry of information into the in-house system
  • Sanitizing data according to the specific requirements of the client and department
  • Reviewing materials to ensure content is usable for posting
  • Researching client websites to obtain content/data for subsequent usage
  • Generating original content as per the requirements of the Content Manager
  • Communicating directly with clients to establish data and content delivery timelines
  • Contacting users of the Webpackaging system in to define/post requests for quote
Qualifications, Experience, Requirements

Position requirements:

  • High level of expertise using MS Excel and other MS Office Suite software
  • High level of comprehension of data/asset management
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work in an English-speaking, international environment
  • Proactive attitude, capable of prioritizing tasks
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clientsç
  • Ability to pick up the telephone to achieve objectives


Position preferences:

  • Data entry accuracy
  • Basic HTML skills and understanding of website structures
  • Basic image editing skills
  • Outgoing, proactive, and helpful personality
Language Skills
  • Native English speaker
  • Excellent comprehension of English grammar, spelling, and proofreading
