In recognition of market demands for innovative and superior quality tubes closures, Weener has developed a family of attractive tube closures called CosmoTop. These are available in several diameters, designs and surface finishes. Various smart features with additional consumer benefits were incorporated in this development.

Following the market introduction of the lightweight CosmoTop range at Interpack last year, the 50mm version of this next generation tube closure has been accomplished. A state-of-the-art production cell with unique robot handling and highly effective machines provides closures with a perfect look and feel. In-house decoration of hot stamping, completes the ambition to offer the market a premium and yet cost-effective closure range.

Smart features and benefits

The CosmoTop tube closures are the first lightweight range with two design options. The weight reduction contributes to a packaging solution that is both cost-effective and also environmentally friendly.

The push-on application enables a perfect closure orientation. The lid can be conveniently closed by just pressing the front part. The specially designed lid latching enhances a quiet opening and a consistent opening force which continues through in the longer term and not just in the first usage.

The used resin offers a high transparency.

The stylish design and high visual quality make the CosmoTop closures perfectly suitable for the Personal Care market. Two lid designs are offered: More round shaped called "Style" and more square called "Classy". All versions can be provided in two surface finishes, glossy and matte.
