Compakt HS: ACMI's unique, fast "low level infeed" palletiser

ACMI presents a new end of line concept that includes a low level infeed palletiser able to reach more than 520 layers per hour with any type of product and with the insertion of interlayers. This innovative palletiser is called Compakt HS.

It is a palletisation system which integrates in a single "low level infeed" structure all the functions of a high speed palletiser. ACMI managed to apply its own management technology of the interlayers of fast "Faster" high level infeed palletisers to this innovative palletiser that achieves high performance without the need to be placed on a platform. Compakt HS has the following advantages:

520 layers/hour with the application of the interlayer
Ultrafast machine in a small space
"Low level infeed" structure, greater accessibility

Elimination of the platform and relative pack elevators

Compakt HS belongs to the Italian company's high speed palletiser series of machinery. The category of high speed palletisers is divided into two main series characterized by a high or low level product infeed. As a low level infeed model, Compakt HS is designed with a double mobile platform system whereby the compact palletiser is fed by the two or three module Twisterbox system:

ACMI's line for Coca Cola's official bottler in Sibeg

At the Sibeg factory, the official Coca-Cola bottler for the region of Sicily, ACMI dealt with the design, installation and commissioning of a bottling line with high flexibility which reaches a rated filling speed of 60,000 cans per hour. The term “flexibility” refers to the ability of the system to adapt to a variety of formats, including the possibility of inserting future formats without the need to make any mechanical changes.

ACMI's glass lines for F.lli Martini

ACMI installed two glass lines at the F.lli Martini Secondo Luigi di Cossano Belbo winery, in the province of Cuneo, to bottle the precious wine of the Langhe. The rather complex project involved the construction of a new production area of approximately 5,000 square metres to accommodate the two lines of 36,000 and 15,000 bottles per hour.

HS Line – high speed palletisers

ACMI presents the new line of high-speed palletisers for cans and bottles characterised with the HS initials. This category comprises the high-level Faster series of machines as well as the low level Compakt models.

ACMI's sophisticated end-of-line handling system

In the province of Venice (Italy), the Coelsanus SpA factory is situated which is one of the most important Italian manufacturers of pickled foods. ACMI dealt with an end of line that handles four production lines through a sophisticated palletisation system. The multiliner palletiser can work both formats independently or handle them simultaneously alternating the two pallets depending on product availability. In this way, a constant palletisation speed is always guaranteed independent of whether jar or tin.

ACMI presents the new "Fenix" 3-lane shrinkwrapper

The Fenix 3P three-lane shrinkwrapper is the fastest model of the full ACMI range. With a capacity of 120 packs per minute, per lane, this machine is suitable for packaging PET bottles and cans.

ACMI's Compact Line: The future of bottling

ACMI charts a new way forward in the design and construction of complete bottling systems. ACMI's Compact Line is growing in popularity especially among bottlers of soft drinks and mineral water. It is a system that eliminates all the accumulation tables, except for the one that combines the filling block with the packaging one and considers the bottling line as if it were made up of two large homogeneous blocks for performance and efficiency.

ACMI commissioned by Heineken Italia

ACMI was commissioned by Heineken Italia to design, build and install the depalletisation and palletisation zone of a new 20L and 30L keg line at the Comun Nuovo factory, in the province of Bergamo (Italy).

ACMI's Easypack packaging system

Easypack is an innovative packaging system which does not use glue or shrink wrapping to pack together several products. It is one of two multipacker systems on offer by ACMI. Easypack forms the packs using special, fully printable and customizable bands of extensible material called "sleeves" that are placed around the products.

Mezzacorona winery commissions ACMI

The Mezzacorona winery commissioned ACMI as the main contractor with the design, installation and commissioning of a bottling line of 18,000 bottles per hour able to handle twelve different formats, from 0.75 to 1.5 litres, even with truncated cone-shaped bottles.

ACMI's Vortex stretchwrapper

ACMI presents the Vortex stretch wrapper, a new high-end stretch wrapper able to mount reels with a height of 500mm, 750mm or 1,000mm. This innovative machine, which benefits from extremely small dimensions, is equipped with an automatic pre-stretching unit changeover system and can be integrated with the Compakt palletiser structure.

ACMI's hi-tech canning line at Birra Castello brewery

ACMI has installed a hi-tech canning line at Birra Castello brewery, located in the north-eastern part of Italy. The line has a nominal filling speed of 90.000 cans per hour and is very flexible. The line can handle 330ml and 500ml cans packed with the following configurations: Film only, film + carton pad, film + carton tray.

ACMI in charge of high-tech flexible can line for Coca-Cola Sibeg

As the official Coca-Cola bottler of Sicily (Italy), ACMI was in charge of the projection, installation and commissioning of a high-tech flexible bottling line with a filling speed of 60,000 cans per hour. At the present moment in time, the line can handle nine formats with four different types of cans: 330ml, 500ml, 330ml "sleek" and 150ml "slim" and is already predisposed for handling a total of 35 formats.

ACMI sets up compact line for Ferrarelle Group, Italy

ACMI has installed an innovative bottling line at Ferrarelle Group, one of the most important Italian brand of mineral water. The line is capable of handling both round and square PET bottles and has a nominal filling speed of 40,000 bottles per hour.

ACMI designs revolutionary packaging system for Coca-Cola HBC

ACMI has designed a revolutionary new packaging system called Easypack, for the production of packs containing two, four and six, which makes use of special elastic bands instead of glue or shrink wrapping. The Easypack machine has a very compact structure which allows exceptional adaptability within any layout both when it comes to new lines or existing lines which require the shrink wrapper to be replaced.

Twisterbox is the synonym of efficient layer formation. Invented by ACMI in 2001 and patented in 2002, the layer formation system has been appreciated by some of the most important names in the bottling industry on a worldwide scale.
