OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE MATERIALS

Recycled PET or RPET:

The recycling of PET is a key element to reduce waste and actively contribute to build a circular economy. Used PET packaging is sorted, shredded, washed and then regenerated to obtain RPET granules. This recycled PET can be used alone (100%) or mixed with virgin resin at different rates in order to create new packaging products. The material is ideal for a wide variety of solutions as it's certified for food contact. That's why Acti Pack has been offering packs made from recycled PET since 2012 on all its standard ranges and on its specific products according to customer requirements.

Currently we offer our products in 25%, 50% or 100% recycled PET material.

Biosourced PET:

In the manufacture of bio-based PET, one of the fossil substances that configure PET is replaced by a component derived from vegetable waste (sugar cane). Biosourced PET is a virgin material and is certified for food contact. Acti Pack makes this biosourced material available to customers who prefer it over regular RPET products.

LEIGHTWEIGHT PACKAGING:

The performance of our products is also in line with their lighter weight.

The know-how of our R&D department and the acquisition of the latest injection blow moulding technologies allow us to accompany our customers in their greatest challenge by offering solutions to reduce material weight by up to 20%.
