AR Packaging - The new strong brand name for the packaging industry

AR Packaging, currently represented in Germany with 6 plants and around 1100 employees, has experienced continuous growth and has so far maintained seven independent brands. The common goal was and is to create added value for customers by offering a wide range of products and in-depth expertise in the packaging market. From now on, these brands will merge and operate under the same name.

"Coordinating our brands gives customers better access to our unified and comprehensive offering, including our multi-substrate packaging materials. Our driving force is to become the preferred partner for packaging solutions in the market and we are well positioned to optimally support customers as their business grows," said CEO Harald Schulz.

The seven brands that are now combined into one are AR Packaging, A & R Carton, Flextrus, CC Pack, SP Containers, Maju Jaya and AR Packaging Digital. In addition, the four recently acquired brands Nampak Carton Nigeria, K + D, rlc packaging and BSC Drukarnia Opakowan are registered under the new name. This is in line with AR Packaging's growth strategy as the company prepares and aims for further growth both organically and through acquisitions.

AR Packaging has a large customer base of established international companies, including regional and local customers - in more than 50 countries worldwide. The company develops and produces cardboard-based and flexible packaging for many blue chip and local companies, for example in the fields of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food and confectionery.

With increasing concern for the environment, there is a clear change in consumer behavior, which is causing more and more manufacturers and food chains to eliminate single-use plastic products and set clear goals for minimizing environmental pollution. The global packaging industry must respond to this change and AR Packaging, with its leading technological and innovative positioning, is ideally positioned to play an important and outstanding role in this change.

"In addition to the focus on sustainable packaging, the ongoing corona pandemic has shown how important packaging is because it provides hygienic protection and ensures that food reaches consumers safely and intact. Overall, this creates new business opportunities because AR Packaging has an extensive product range and strong innovation capabilities," said Harald Schulz.
