Avery Dennison provides major service enhancements for the Select Solutions portfolio

  • Avery Dennison

Georg Müller-Hof, PLT director, Select Solutions, said that being able to order the right format and quantity is crucial: “These are the service options customers have told us they want for the Select Solutions portfolio. Inventory control, cost control and speed have been improved – converters can now respond to customer requests and use high-performance Select Solutions materials more easily than ever before. They can tap into new business areas and offer the broadest possible range of options to their customers.”

The Select Solutions portfolio enables a vast range of self-adhesive applications, from security and digital labels through to removables, reclosures and holographic labels. It supports a number of high-growth areas such as wine, spirits and craft beer labelling, durable goods labelling and creative short-run promotions.

Georg Müller-Hof said that the new service options offer more flexibility: “We are offering low-volume rolls and a lead time of just one business day, across more labelling materials and labelling applications than ever before. This is a way to improve operational efficiency, reduce inventory and cut waste.”

More than 150 Select Solutions products are now available under the Avery Dennison EXACT and Ready Width programmes. Fasson EXACT allows rolls to be ordered at precise roll widths, in predetermined lengths, while Fasson Ready Width offers small rolls at standard widths and lengths – now including rolls down to 500 linear metres.
