Omni® Xtra+ is a mono-material polyethylene (PE) cling film designed to support recycling in established PE waste streams. Certified as compatible with European PE recycling systems by both RecyClass and Interseroh, it provides an alternative to traditional multi-material overwrap films. In addition to its recyclability credentials, Omni® Xtra+ helps reduce overall material usage. Compared to standard PVC cling films, it offers a density reduction of over 25%, helping to lower packaging weight without compromising performance. Its enhanced mechanical strength also allows for down-gauging, supporting more efficient use of material while maintaining puncture resistance and load retention.
