Stylish and sustainable: Cosmetic packaging embraces recycled material that's FDA approved

  • bomo trendline

The demand for sustainable packaging is on the rise, so cosmetic packs made from recycled plastic material are now a must-have.

Bomo trendline has embraced the use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic waste across its popular standard cosmetic packaging lines, providing beauty brands with a visually sustainable option whereby off-white is on-trend as the slight shades of grey emphasize the percentage of PCR material included in each and every product.

To guarantee the integrity of its sustainable packaging, Bomo trendline uses food-safe, FDA-compliant material that fully meets cosmetic regulation requirements, ensuring that even the most delicate of cosmetic formulations is protected.

"One of the interesting features of using PCR material in packaging is the colour of the pack. White and pale-coloured packaging takes on a darker tone when PCR is incorporated, whereas stronger colours have a lighter finished result when there's a higher amount of PCR material."

Bomo trendline currently offers a choice of either 30% or 50% PCR for the following products.
