A pioneer in blow molding, Charles K. Sewell built two powerhouse companies and helped shape an entire industry. In the 1960s, he founded Sewell Plastics and later played a key role in the development of Coca-Cola’s first 2-liter container.
As founder of CKS Packaging, now North America’s 8th largest blow molding company, Mr. Sewell drove innovations like clear-handled juice bottles and led the company to 27 plants and over $750M in annual sales.
Equally important is his legacy of mentorship—he guided dozens of industry leaders—and his decades-long commitment to giving back. He founded Maximum Impact Love, a nonprofit organization that supports those in need, and helped launch Safe House, a shelter for the homeless in Atlanta.
