Colep to launch invisible seam innovation for tinplate aerosol cans at Interpack

  • Colep

DigiStripe™ is a technical development which allows three-piece tinplate aerosol cans to compete aesthetically with aluminium cans due to the reduction in the visible seam from 5mm to 1.5mm, available in black or clear. This is a significant advancement in the tinplate aerosol industry, as until now, the minimum size of the visible seam was 5mm. Decreasing this visible seam not only improves the visual appearance of the can for the end consumer, but also improves the external side seam varnish strip application and increases the print area on a tinplate can; giving marketers more flexibility in the can artwork positioning.

Colep invites visitors to the exhibition to learn more about DigiStripe™ by visiting stand A53, Hall 11 at the Interpack Processes & Packaging exhibition in Düsseldorf.
