Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2018 proposes a rich calendar of initiatives for beauty professionals

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2018 dedicates a targeted proposal for professionals coming to Bologna, a unique opportunity for in-depth analysis, live demonstrations of the latest products and networking with leading companies: a new "tailor made" format characterizes the next edition of the most important event of the year for the beauty universe.

From Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 March open doors for all those working in retail, perfumery and cosmetics, green and natural segment and for international pavilions, in conjunction with Cosmopack; from Friday 16 to Monday 19 March the areas of interest for the professional channel - hair, nail and aesthetics & spa - will be available for guests, together with country pavilions of China and Taiwan.  

COSMO|HAIR & NAIL & BEAUTY SALON

From Friday 16 to Monday 19 March, COSMO | Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon collects the finished product companies for the hair, nails and aesthetics sectors, exhibitors specialized in equipment for beauty centers and spas, specialists in accessories and furnishings, together with the national pavilions of China and Taiwan: a tailor-made path for professionals working in beauty centers, spas and hairdressing salons, with ad hoc initiatives to present product news and trends. Thanks to the International Buyer Program, buyers and distributors for the professional channel will have the chance to discover new products and meet leading companies.
 
For the hair sector, the Hair Ring stage keeps hosting young talents: thanks to the collaboration with Camera Italiana dell'Acconciatura , from March 16th to 19th, spotlights on the most original proposals of hair stylists who are now entering the sector. On Friday 16th there will also be the finalists of the Best Young prize organized together with Camera Italiana dell'Acconciatura during On Hair Autumn Edition in November, which will present their creations to an international audience.  
 
Dedicated to the male world, the United Barbers Show, the appointment with the world of barbery, in collaboration with Sen Martin and Barber Mind. On Friday 16 and Saturday 17 March space for in-depth analysis and business meetings, while on Sunday 18 and Monday 19 March shows dedicated to male hairstyle and shaving are scheduled on the catwalk. 

Beauticians and operators of beauty centers visiting COSMO

Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon will have the chance to find the most innovative machines and products to increase their business and offer their customers a higher quality service.  In addition to the rich exhibition area, with the leading companies for the professional beauty sector, on Sunday 18 and Monday 19 March Cosmoprof offers a calendar of live demonstrations, Cosmoprof On Stage, created in collaboration with Esthetiworld by Cosmoprof. As part of the program, massage techniques following the latest trends, such as the Linfo + Det ox Massage presented by Manuela Ravasio and the Bioenergetic Massage + Meditation with Salvatore Leone.

Not-to-be-missed the proposals of the most famous make-up artists, with the presence of Rossano De Cesaris, with a makeup proposal inspired to a red carpet mood, and Lashdream, with the focus on gaze, Eye Love You. Among the topics to be discussed in Bologna, the importance of dermopigmentation and its use for aesthetics and reconstructive corrective purposes, in collaboration with Claudia Magnani and Atec Italia, and the "art of wearing yourself", that is a guide to the correct use of colors to increase self-consciousness and energy.  
 
Focus on the nail world with training sessions dedicated to nail technicians. Nail Education Bologna, organized by Eva Burai of Nail Over on Monday 19 March, focuses on the most fashionable nail art techniques, continuing a journey started in October during Esthetiworld by Cosmoprof.

SPA SYMPOSIUM

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna brings the world of international spas in Bologna for the second edition of the Spa Symposium. On Friday 16th and Saturday 17th March 2018, international experts in the sector, trend setters and the most influential trade magazines will present topics of interest for operators in the spa and wellness centers and for specialized companies, with a focus on the main markets. With the collaboration of ISPA - International Spa Association, representatives of the most important spa chains will analyze the state of the market in the United States and the most appropriate marketing strategies; thanks to the support of Asia Spa Magazine and European Spa Magazine, the trends of the European market and the development of the sector in African countries and in South East Asia will be analyzed.  

New at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2018, EffettoVIOLA™, a new therapy to prevent anxiety and stress thanks to an exclusive technology duplicating the individual brainwave activity, registered in a moment of relax and rest. With the collaboration of Fonoprint and Warner Chappel, this process reduces stress, anxiety and sleeplessness.

The Italian market will be analyzed thanks to the collaboration of the Italian magazine Wellness Design and Sandro Baronti, SPA is wonderful.

Great expectations also for the first edition of JOB@SPA at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna. The important event for recruitment in the sector, thanks to the success achieved in October during Esthetiworld by Cosmoprof, aims at selecting professionals with appropriate training for the spa world, creating new job opportunities. Sunday, March 18th, companies will be able to meet candidates, perform interviews and collect curricula for contingent or future needs. The initiative, born from an idea by Sandro Baronti - SPA is wonderful, has been developed in collaboration with the Italian magazine Wellness Design. 

COSMOPROF AWARDS

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is the most important hub in the world for trends and innovation in the beauty sector. To reward the most innovative products, Cosmoprof Awards, the initiative that involves companies from all the beauty sectors, in collaboration with the international trend agency Beautystreams. Cosmoprof Awards will celebrate the best proposals for finished products presented by exhibitors of the 2018 trade show, rewarding the most original creativity and the best performing marketing strategy for each specific market sector.

Cosmoprof & Cosmopack awards: the finalists

The finalists of Cosmoprof Awards 2018, curated in partnership with Beautystreams, have finally been announced. Among the 582 proposals sent by exhibiting companies, 20 products have been selected for Cosmoprof, according to 5 categories and celebrating their innovation, communication and marketing strategy, and 20 projects/solutions for the beauty industry have been chosen for Cosmopack for their technological appeal, creativity and sustainability. 26 international experts as members of the jury will be asked to choose the winners, which will be celebrated with a special ceremony on Friday, March 16th. Winners will receive a special trophy designed by Centdegrés.

Cosmopack 2018 presents news and trends for the cosmetic industry

Cosmopack, the world-famous event in conjunction with Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna that involves the entire beauty supply chain, is scheduled in Bologna from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th March 2018, to gather under one roof the international leaders of the cosmetic industry and all its related components. For 2018 the event marks a significant growth of 6%. 464 exhibitors are already confirmed and the waiting list is constantly growing.

The world of perfumery and cosmetics to go on show in Bologna

At the 2018 edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna a new tailor-made format will facilitate networking and business opportunities for companies, retailers and professional operators attending the event, and fulfilling the specific needs of each sector. This is the latest that Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is proposing for its next edition, with a diversification of opening days for each sector: 15-18 March for all those working in the retail channel, for perfumery and cosmetics, green beauty and international pavilions; in conjunction with Cosmopack from 16-19 March for beauty professionals in hair, nail and aesthetics & spa segments, with China and Taiwan country pavilions.
