Coster has developed a new ergonomic spray cap equipped with an innovative diffusion system, exclusively for the Garnier Deo Mineral personal deodorant line. The design also features Coster´s new sliding lock mechanism, which provides the consumer with the ability to lock the product shut with a simple finger slide.

The new special actuator is suitable for Ø 45mm aluminum cans.  The security lock has been implemented incorporating a sliding mechanism, positioned in the action zone, which can be moved between a LOCKED or UNLOCKED position. In the open (UNLOCKED) position, the locking mechanism can be used as a finger-depressed actuator, offering an ergonomic grip and an intuitive spray dispenser to the consumer.  The locking mechanism ensures that the product will not leak or inadvertently spray while being transported (back and forth from the gym, for example) or that very small children will not be able to use the product and accidentally cause themselves injury, though the lock mechanism is not considered an official child-proof lock.

Using a standard AP insert, the new spray also features two channels which separate during the spray phase, enabling improved diffusion and, as a result, a more effective application of the product.

Coster´s new spray cap is produced in Malaysia in the Costerpack Manufacturing plant, specifically in the new, completely air-conditioned moulding zone, where cutting edge electric presses operate with great precision and sustained conformance with moulding specifications, thus assuring superb production quality.
